Quinn Questions Governor on Legal Bills

Chicago’s WBBM radio posted a report late on January 24 that Lt. Gov. PAT QUINN publicly demanded Gov. ROD BLAGOJEVICH disclose details about his $2 million in legal bills.

Even though the governor is using campaign money, Quinn says the governor needs to explain to the public his need for so many lawyers working so many hours.

In 2010, if Governor Blagojevich seeks reelection, the Lite Guv likely assumes he’ll be replaced as the running mate, one imagines. Quinn likely also assumes Friday follows Thursday, too. Furthermore, he may assume that all assumptions about his electoral future are academic until all the lawyers have their final say.

Speaking of the future, some heavy set woman in a frilly frock was recently overheard on a Springfield street corner clearing her throat. It was either a premonition or a cheese fry.
