New Poll: American More Happier Today With Current Healthcare System, Costs than a Year Ago

(Chicago, IL) — November 19, 2009. Americans are happier with the U.S. healthcare system. Happy. Happy. Happy.

Congress has approved no health care reform. Approximately 50% of all bankruptcies are still by persons overwhelmed by medical costs. More than 31 million Americans still have no health insurance. U.S. health plan costs will continue to be more than four times greater than the annual increase in average hourly earnings in 2010.

Oh the joy.

Unsurprisingly, Americans are happier about their health care system and costs today than a year ago, according to a new Gallup poll.

Gallup’s Jeffrey Jones writes:

Substantially more Americans rate healthcare coverage in the country as excellent or good this year (38%) than did so a year ago (26%). Similarly, more Americans now say they are satisfied with the total cost of U.S. healthcare (26%) than said this a year ago (19%).

Who knew? Problem solved.

  1. My pockets are empty with holes in the bottom where Robin Hood a.k.a. Uncle Sam has already been and gone, your welcome to what is left, the lint.
