Illinois Election Results 2010: With 96% of Vote Counted, State Senator Michael Noland is Beating Ex-Senator Steve Rauschenberger

(Chicago, IL) — November 2, 2010. With 96% of voted counted, State Senator Michael Noland (D-Elgin) is beating back a challenge from ex-State Senator Steve Raushchenberger (R-Elgin) who has sought to recapture his form legislative seat.

Noland has 17,413, or 51.2% of the vote, to Rauschenberger’s 16,595 or 48.8%.

Noland will likely hold onto his seat.
