Illinois Election Returns 2010: Speaker Michael Madigan Will Retain Control of the Illinois House, Early Returns Reveal

(Chicago, IL) — November 2, 2010. Enough election returns have come in for Illinois state house races to be able to call the House for the Democrats, keeping Speaker Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) in his chair. House GOP Minority Leader Tom Cross (R-Oswego) would likely remain leader of the GOP caucus.
